What will I do in the Practical Application Lab?

CompTIA A+ students will do training in a real-live computer repair shop.  Students will be removing viruses, installing hard drives, making back-ups, installing hardware, and practicing what happens in a typical entry level computer repair position Students will attend lab at www.quickboise.com, a sister company to LeapFox Learning.

 

CompTIA Net+  Students will be working with networks, securing data, managing exchange email, diagramming networks, setting up routers and practicing what happens in a typical entry –level network admin position. Students will attend lab at www.qcsboise.com, a sister company to LeapFox Learning.

If I have already been in the Mentor Lab, why do I need the Practical Application Lab?

Students who attend class and get certified receive interview invites.  Students who have experience and certification are a step ahead and often times get the job.   The Practical Application Lab adds to the certification by providing practical experience so our students stand out and get noticed when looking for employment.

When and where do I attend my Practical Application Lab?

You will attend the lab on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday's for an entire month.  Labs take place at Quick Computer Services or Quick IT— 2100 E Fairview Ave Suite 12/ Meridian, ID 83642 (Right next door to LeapFox Learning.)

How much does this cost?

CompTIA A+ is $1500 per term (12 full days spread over 1 month)
CompTIA Net + $2000 per term (12 full days spread over 1 month)
CompTIA Sec + $2000 per term (12 full days spread over 1 month)
